Gandhi waged a year-long struggle for justice for poor sharecropping peasants in Champaran, Bihar who were forced to grow indigo and surrender their harvest as rent to British landlords. The peasants suffered under an unfair system and injustice. After meeting with a sharecropper named Raj Kumar Shukla, Gandhi visited Champaran to investigate and championed the peasants' cause, gaining their support. Through non-violent protest, Gandhi eventually achieved justice for the peasants and worked to improve their education, health, and living conditions.
Gandhi first met Rajkumar Shukla, a poor peasant farmer from Champaran, at the 1916 Indian National Congress meeting. Shukla persistently requested Gandhi's help in addressing the injustices faced by sharecroppers in Champaran under the landlord system. Impressed by Shukla's determination, Gandhi agreed to visit Champaran. There, he learned that English landlords were forcing tenants to dedicate 15% of their land to indigo cultivation. Gandhi decided to investigate conditions further and help relieve the suppressed peasants' fear of the landlords.

William Douglas nearly drowned as a child in a swimming pool and developed a lifelong fear of deep water. As an adult, he was frustrated that this fear prevented him from enjoying activities like fishing, canoeing, and swimming. To overcome his fear, Douglas engaged a swimming instructor and practiced in the pool daily for months. He gradually exposed himself to deeper water and learned breathing techniques until he was able to swim long distances with confidence. Having conquered his fear through dedicated practice and exposure, Douglas was finally able to enjoy water activities once more.

Robert Frost was an American poet born in 1874 in San Francisco. He left Harvard without a degree and worked various jobs before becoming a farmer. By the 1920s, he was the most celebrated poet in America. As a farmer, Frost's poetic sensibilities were awakened as he observed the detachment of man from nature. His poems often featured rural characters and explored themes of social divides between the rural and urban, rich and poor, and the simple versus materialistic lifestyles. Frost employed simple language and narrative style to tell stories of farmers and their lives, hopes, and interactions with outsiders.
John Keats (1795-1821) was a Romantic poet known for his vivid imagery and exploration of themes of transience and permanence in his poetry. He contrasted the finite nature of human life, characterized by time and inevitable decay, with the eternal and changeless beauty found in nature. Keats believed that nature expresses beauty, and that beauty is truth. Through his synesthetic imagery combining different senses, Keats suggested an underlying unity between all forms of life and sought to find happiness and cheer in nature's beauty amid human suffering. Though he faced personal struggles, Keats is now praised for his serious engagement with difficult human and artistic issues.

What is Computer Network?
A computer network is a set of devices connected through links. A node can be computer, printer, or any other device capable of sending or receiving the data. The links connecting the nodes are known as communication channels.
Computer Network uses distributed processing in which task is divided among several computers. Instead, a single computer handles an entire task, each separate computer handles a subset.
Following are the advantages of Distributed processing:
Security: It provides limited interaction that a user can have with the entire system. For example, a bank allows the users to access their own accounts through an ATM without allowing them to access the bank's entire database.
Faster problem solving: Multiple computers can solve the problem faster than a single machine working alone.
Security through redundancy: Multiple computers running the same program at the same time can provide the security through redundancy. For example, if four computers run the same program and any computer has a hardware error, then other computers can override it.

13. SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE
INTRODUCTION
SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE
WAS A GREAT INDIAN
NATIONALIST. PEOPLE
EVEN TODAY KNOW HIM
BY LOVE FOR HIS
COUNTRY. THIS TRUE
INDIAN MAN WAS BORN
ON THE 23RD OF JANUARY
IN 1897. MOST
NOTEWORTHY, HE FOUGHT
WITH BRAVERY AGAINST
THE BRITISH RULE.
SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE
WAS CERTAINLY A
REVOLUTIONARY
FREEDOM FIGHTER.
14. CONTRIBUTION OF SUBHASH
CHANDRA BOSE IN THE INDIAN
INDEPENDENCE
The participation of Subhash Chandra
Bose took place with the Civil
Disobedience Movement. This is how
Subhash Chandra Bose became part of
the Indian Independence movement. He
became a member of the Indian
National Congress (INC). Also, in 1939
he became the party president.
However, this was for a short time only
because of his resignation from this
post.
The British put Subhash Chandra Bose
under house arrest. This was because of
his opposition to British rule. However,
due to his cleverness, he secretly left
the country in 1941. He then went to
Europe to seek help against the British.
Most noteworthy, he sought the help of
Russians and Germans against the
British.
15. Subhash Chandra Bose went to Japan in
1943. This was because the Japanese
gave their agreement to his appeal for
help. In Japan Subhash Chandra Bose
began the formation of the Indian
National Army. Most noteworthy, he did
the formation of a provisional
government. The axis powers during the
Second World War certainly recognized
this provisional government.
The Indian National Army attacked the
North-eastern parts of India.
Furthermore, this attack took place
under the leadership of Subhash
Chandra Bose. Also, the INA was
successful in capturing a few portions.
Unfortunately, there was the surrender
of INA due to weather and Japanese
policies. However, Bose made his
Refusal to surrender clear. He escaped
on a plane but this plane most probably
crashed. Due to this, Subhash Chandra
Bose died on 18 August 1945.
16. IDEOLOGY OF SUBHASH
CHANDRA BOSE
First of all, Subhash Chandra Bose
strongly supported the complete
independence of India. In
contrast, the Congress Committee
initially wanted independence in
phases, through Dominion status.
Furthermore, Bose was elected
president of Congress for two
consecutive terms. But due to his
ideological conflicts with Gandhi
and Congress, Bose took
resignation. Bose was against
Mahatma Gandhi’s approach of
non-violence. Subhash Chandra
Bose was a supporter of violent
resistance.
17. Subhash Chandra Bose saw 2nd
World War as a great opportunity.
He saw this as an opportunity to take
advantage of British weakness. Also,
he went to USSR, Germany, and
Japan to seek help. He led the INA to
the fight against the British.
Subhash Chandra Bose was a strong
believer in Bhagwat Gita. It was his
belief that Bhagwat Gita was a great
source of inspiration for the fight
against the British. He also held
Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in
high-esteem.
In conclusion, Subhash Chandra
Bose is an unforgettable national
hero. He had tremendous love for his
country. Furthermore, this great
personality sacrificed his whole life
for the country.
18. MAHATMA GANDHI
INTRODUCTION
Mahatma Gandhi was a great
patriotic Indian, if not the
greatest. He was a man of an
unbelievably great personality. He
certainly does not need anyone
like me praising him.
Furthermore, his efforts for
Indian independence are
unparalleled. Most noteworthy,
there would have been a
significant delay in independence
without him. Consequently, the
British because of his pressure
left India in 1947. In this essay on
Mahatma Gandhi, we will see his
contribution and legacy.
19. MAHATMA GANDHI
CONTRIBUTIONS OF MAHATMA GANDHI
First of all, Mahatma Gandhi was a
notable public figure. His role in social
and political reform was instrumental.
Above all, he rid the society of these
social evils. Hence, many oppressed
people felt great relief because of his
efforts. Gandhi became a famous
international figure because of these
efforts. Furthermore, he became the
topic of discussion in many
international media outlets.
Mahatma Gandhi made significant
contributions to environmental
sustainability. Most noteworthy, he said
that each person should consume
according to his needs. The main
question that he raised was “How much
should a person consume?”. Gandhi
certainly put forward this question.
20. Furthermore, this model of
sustainability by Gandhi holds huge
relevance in current India. This is
because currently, India has a very high
population. There has been the
promotion of renewable energy and
small-scale irrigation systems. This was
due to Gandhiji’s campaigns against
excessive industrial development.
Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of non-
violence is probably his most important
contribution. This philosophy of non-
violence is known as Ahimsa. Most
noteworthy, Gandhiji’s aim was to seek
independence without violence. He
decided to quit the Non-cooperation
movement after the Chauri-Chaura
incident. This was due to the violence at
the Chauri Chaura incident.
Consequently, many became upset at
this decision. However, Gandhi was
relentless in his philosophy of Ahimsa.
21. MAHATMA GANDHI
LEGACY OF MAHATMA GANDHI
MAHATMA GANDHI HAS INFLUENCED
MANY INTERNATIONAL LEADERS
AROUND THE WORLD. HIS STRUGGLE
CERTAINLY BECAME AN
INSPIRATION FOR LEADERS. SUCH
LEADERS ARE MARTIN LUTHER KING
JR., JAMES BEVE, AND JAMES
LAWSON. FURTHERMORE, GANDHI
INFLUENCED NELSON MANDELA FOR
HIS FREEDOM STRUGGLE. ALSO,
LANZA DEL VASTO CAME TO INDIA
TO LIVE WITH GANDHI.
THE UNITED NATIONS HAS GREATLY
HONORED MAHATMA GANDHI. UN
HAS MADE 2ND OCTOBER AS “THE
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF
NONVIOLENCE.” FURTHERMORE,
MANY COUNTRIES OBSERVE 30TH
JANUARY AS SCHOOL DAY OF
NONVIOLENCE AND PEACE.
22. SECULARISM IS YET ANOTHER
CONTRIBUTION OF GANDHI. HIS
BELIEF WAS THAT NO RELIGION
SHOULD HAVE A MONOPOLY ON THE
TRUTH. MAHATMA GANDHI
CERTAINLY ENCOURAGED
FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN DIFFERENT
RELIGIONS.HE AWARDS GIVEN TO
MAHATMA GANDHI ARE TOO MANY
TO DISCUSS. PROBABLY ONLY A FEW
NATIONS REMAIN WHICH HAVE NOT
AWARDED MAHATMA GANDHI.
IN CONCLUSION, MAHATMA GANDHI
WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST
POLITICAL ICONS EVER. MOST
NOTEWORTHY, INDIANS REVERE BY
DESCRIBING HIM AS THE “FATHER
OF THE NATION”. HIS NAME WILL
CERTAINLY REMAIN IMMORTAL FOR
ALL GENERATIONS.
23. STUDENT REFLECTION
My review about the project is as follows :
I learnt a lot about some of the great
personalities of India , how important they were
for the nation and how their presence was
much needed at the time they were present.
The project also defines how a modern person
should be as the great personalities not only to
make the nation better but also to make own
life better as the great personalities carried
some great qualities which if implemented in
some one’s life can take him/her to heights
Making this project also made me realise how I
also need to be a better person and try to have
a name in the list of great personalities .
